301 billion iraqi dinar shares traded in ISX in 2008

A total of 96 companies were registered in ISX in 2008, of which only 88 companies traded during the year’s sessions, 139.
Nearly 31,000 contracts were conducted by Iraqi and non-Iraqi investors.
Throughout 134 sessions, 60 non-Iraqi investors have implemented 3,000 contracts worth 25 billion Iraqi dinars (1 U.S. dollar = 1,118 Iraqi dinar).
During its last session in 2008, the ISX index dropped by 0.275 percent, closing at 58.360 points.
