Iraqi Businessmen are welcoming ATM system in Baghdad and demanding to expand it all over Iraq

The Director of Al Warka'a bank (the branch of Al Khalani) Mr. Safaa Hassan Issa stated to "Radio Sawa" on this new experiment in Iraqi market, saying:
"The ATM system is practiced in all the global banks , and now Al Warka'a Bank started working out the as the first bank. We set the machines in all Branches and some markets. The bank intends to distribute a large number of machines, as well as put in some ministries .We aim to expand the bank automated."
But the accessing process to the card was limited to some customers who have accounts at the bank itself, as Issa says:
"We have given the card to some customers who have registered accounts of high and assured credits , and can withdraw the amount wanted from anywhere near."
The Assistant Director of Al Warka'a Bank Mr. Ahmed Rashid , stressed on the growing customer demand for bank ATM:
"There is demand at the ATM now, while there was no friction between the citizen and the system, but now there is a growing demand with new level."
A number of Iraqi businessmen have welcomed this step by saying that it will provide them the time and effort, says the businessman Mahdi al-Shamri to "Radio Sawa":
"When Iraqi citizens recognized that machines are located in neighboring countries, they become disturbed for not being existent in Iraq. Now, with this device you don't need any longer to stand in front of the cashier and it is serving time in counting the money."
The President of Businessmen Union ,Mr. Raghib Reza Blibl stated :
"It is an important step towards facilitating the task, and we hope to circulate to all banks and their branches because everything happens in the evolution of the country is a joy for us, and hope to provide more facilities and solving the problems of the banking sector in Iraq to have an important role in the economic process and provide the needs of the people."
Abbas Hassan, a businessman, from his turn, welcomed the introduction of ATMs in the banking:
"This system will provide an easy way to deal with the cash money, we can use the card to facilitate our affairs and we hope to spread this method in all parts of Iraq."
The most businessmen who spoke to "Radio Sawa" reporter ,assured that the Government must support such a step and expand the Automated Teller work.(Source)AlSaba
